The Explorers Club

The Explorers Club is a professional society founded in New York City in 1904, dedicated to advancing field research and upholding the importance of scientific exploration. With a membership of over 3,500 individuals worldwide, the Club unites explorers and scientists who have contributed to many of the world’s most significant discoveries across various disciplines, including astronomy, archeology, oceanography, physics, ethnology, geography, anthropology, and much more. Its members are organized into national and international chapters, creating a vibrant community that fosters collaboration and support for exploration endeavors.

 
 
 

Our Chapter

Our chapter is one of more than thirty Chapters worldwide, and ours, based in Seattle, includes the Pacific Northwest states of Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.
